The Feast of Christmas is the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ two thousand years ago. Christmas is the festival which inspires the spirit of sharing and caring. Soaked in the spirit of Christmas the students of Don Bosco Berhampore celebrated the festival with great enthusiasm and joy on December 20, 2019. The school was beautifully decorated and the crib was made to depict the birth of baby Jesus.
Students put up a delightful programme to mark this auspicious occasion. The tiny tots of LKG and UKG were the centre of attention in their colourful dresses and wonderful dance performance. The students of classes 5 and 8 sang melodious carols and class 7 danced beautifully to wish their teachers and classmates. The significance of the festival was explained to the students through the Christmas story which was enacted by students of classes 1, 3, 4 and 6 each in their own unique way. All the students of class 2 were seen on stage, dancing, singing and enacting the story of the birth of Christ. To inculcate the spirit of love and peace the students of class 9 had put up a wonderful skit. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all the children.
